Warriin the Wombat is a solitary fella. He is a vegetarian who spends most of the dayin his burrow and feeds at night. In one of our Taungwurrung creation stories, Warriin and Marram the Kangaroo were good mates.
One day they had a fight because Warriin would not let Marram into his burrow, Marram cut off Warriin tail with his axe.Warriin was so mad he threw a spear at Marram, and this became stuck in his back end and is now his tail - Mick Harding

All animals are made from Corten steel which is designed to rust. This gives them long term protection against the elements, and a beautiful patina that shifts with seasons. (If you prefer your animal does not rust you can purchase a product at your local hardware store that you can spray on to delay the rusting process.)

Here are some instructions for easy install
STEP ONE
Choose a tree or post that will be your animal's new home.
Ngarga Warendj x Animalia designs look best framed against
open sky, so their silhouette can come to life.
STEP TWO
Firmly hold your animal at your chosen height, spiky tip
pointing into the wood.
STEP THREE
Use a hammer to bury the tip about 3 cm into the wood,
leaving the animal sitting out.
If you’re finding it difficult to hammer in your
Ngarga Warendj x Animalia design, you’re probably dealing
with a harder wood – try drilling a small pilot hole before hammering your design in.
